Tamiya welcomes a new version of the T-34-85 Russian medium tank into the 1/48 Military Miniature Series! The T-34-85 was a re-evaluation of the trusty T-34-76 that had run into trouble against powerful German foes like the Tiger I and Panther. In addition to superior survivability and mobility, the T-34-85 had a larger, heavier-armoured turret with an 85mm long barrel gun. With more than 25,000 produced from 1944 to 1946, this tank contributed to the triumphant advance of the Red Army during the latter part of the war.
