Battle of Moscow, 1941

Here we have a bust of your average German soldier in the Battle of Moscow 1941, as you can see he has his rifle, grenades, ammunition packs to hand then his sleeping gear and small rations on the back. Because it’s the Battle of Moscow this soldier is wrapped up extremely warm to try and combat the harsh winter conditions, as without all this warm clothing he would almost definitely freeze to death before he even got a chance to join the battle.
