Empire of Man: Empire Demigryph Knights

Centuries before the events of the End Times large scale battles were waged. Forces of good and evil collided as they battled for surpremacy: armoured knights on warhorses charged the frontlines against those weaving powerful sorceries.

The Old World is a tactical tabletop game where players use strategy and units of various armies in clashes on a large scale where precise movement and positioning can result in victory or defeat.

The Empire of Man is a powerful human nation in the Old World. It's a collection of city-states that often squabble among themselves, but can unite under strong leadership to face external threats. These threats include the chaotic forces of darkness, the savage Orcs and Goblins, and the monstrous Beastmen. The Empire's armies are vast and varied, including knights, mages, and common soldiers.

For some within Knightly Orders their final test is to tame a wild Demigryph. The majority of the time, the Demigryph slays the knight in the attempt, however, in some cases, the knight succeeds and gains a dependable companion on the battlefield. Equipped with heavy weapons and armour the Demigryph knights are sight to behold on the battlefield, with claw, beak and sword at their disposal they cause panic on the frontline for the enemy and an inspirational sight for friendly forces.
