Grey Surface Primer 100ml

This grey surface primer from Tamiya can be used to cover up any seams, defects or imperfections that may be on your models. As well as this it will improve the adhesion of the paint you use, this means your awesome designs won't rub away and will last a lot longer than if you painted straight onto the model.

Using a primer will also reduce the thickness of the paint you need to use, this is done as the primer is an almost opaque type of paint so gives a nice neutral surface to paint on. Although it is opaque it won't let the models colour come through, overall this will reduce the amount of coats you will need to use and save you money on paints.
