Takashi, like other clans draw on lesser clans for support whether it be on a battlefield, in court of commercially. For many generations the Makoto’s, renowned for their wealth of knowledge and love of their sciences have enjoyed the protection of the Takashi for wisdom and consort in exchange. Kioshi, the voice of reason in the court of Ryu speaks many quiet words which hold more weight than Minimoto steel to the heads of the Takashi.
