At the Dawn of the 31st millennium, the Warmaster Horus unleashes civil war upon his father, The Emperor of Mankind, in a bid to gain power and replace him as the ruler of The Imperium. Its exceptional speed enabled it to outmanoeuvre larger armoured foes, exposing vulnerable flanks and rear armour to the devastating impact of its main gun and deadly sabre missiles.
