The Cult Mechanicum, also known as the Priesthood of Mars or the Mechanicum, is a technocratic religious organization, guardians of ancient technology who worship the Machine God, a deity embodying the collective consciousness of all machines.

Cult Mechanicum forces comprise Tech-Priests, Skitarii, and various war machines. They are heavily armoured and armed with advanced weaponry, reflecting their devotion to technology and the Machine God.

The Krios Battle Tank forms the core of armoured formations, employing technology considered archaic even during the Horus Heresy - resulting in a remarkably versatile vehicle with surprising speed. Its standard loadout is a lightning cannon capable of annihilating entire fire teams with a single hit, which can be swapped for a more devastating, close-range irradiation blaster.

This kit can also be assembled as the lethal Krios Venator - a specialized hunter equipped with a potent yet shorter-ranged pulsar-fusil.
