The Cult Mechanicum, also known as the Priesthood of Mars or the Mechanicum, is a technocratic religious organization, guardians of ancient technology who worship the Machine God, a deity embodying the collective consciousness of all machines.

Cult Mechanicum forces comprise Tech-Priests, Skitarii, and various war machines. They are heavily armoured and armed with advanced weaponry, reflecting their devotion to technology and the Machine God.

Like the Thallax in concept, Ursarax aren't true automatons, but rather vital organic components from a soldier within a tough exoskeleton and jetpack. These melee experts typically wield fearsome lightning claws, though power fists are also often seen. Their Utan jump boosters grant them incredible speed on the battlefield.
