The Rohirrim are the race of Men who inhabited the land of Rohan, which was named after their famous horses. They are known as the Horse Lords and are said to be the greatest horsemen that have ever lived. Many battles have been won by the charge of these heroes and Riders, smashing aside the ranks of their foes, splintering their shields and causing them to turn and flee.

The Rohan stronghold is a testament to the martial spirit and sturdy practicality of the horse-lords. Built primarily from timber and stone, their fortresses are designed to withstand the harsh winters of the north and the occasional siege.
