Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 Squadron

This superb high altitude fighter was less effective in the low altitude combat at the beginning of the German invasion of Russia. Despite this major fault there were over 3400 of this plane built. With a basic armament of 1x12.7mm BS machine gun and 2x7.62mm ShKAS machine guns it could also be armed with 2x100kg bombs or 6x82mm RS-82 rockets
