In the game players choose a force allied to one faction, each with unique character options, from reliable samurai and ashigaru to fearless sohei warrior monks and desperate bandits. Fighting honourable duels to assassinations in the dark. Easy to learn, fast paced game that uses D6 dice to reflect the cut and thrust of hand to hand combat as katanas clash during battle and requires players to make tactical decisions in the middle of a fight, that could prove their undoing. A campaign system allows for the development of characters over time and scenarios give options for more varied games beyond direct face to face battles.
