Tau Empire Tidewall Droneport

As the Tau continue their aggressive and rapid expansion into Imperial space they begin shuttling in reinforcements and defensive buildings to help protect and keep the footholds they have gained on each of the planets they advance on, as they refuse to needlessly waste resources and brave honourable warriors in futile ways to achieve their goals. To help with this conquest you will typically see the Tau bring in hovering structures such as the Tidewalls. These defensive structures provide a shield of protection for the warrior, as well as heavy weapon systems to destroy incoming adversaries. The enemy forces will break against the Tidewalls like waves and then be destroyed in a blaze of fury by the Fire Warriors safely behind its walls. Even more devastating to the enemies’ battle plans is that the Tidewalls hoover and once the killing has stopped the protective fortifications can advance towards their next target with the men safely behind it and gain more ground in the battle for the Tau Empire.

The first plastic scenery kit ever made for an alien race this is an awesome and great kit for collectors of Warhammer 40,000. The Tidewall Droneport is a mobile defence platform and hub that provides cover for Tau troops and drones that protect them. As well as the platform the kit also comes with four detachable drones that can be sent on their own specific assignments.
