Ticket to Ride United Kingdom & Pennsylvania

Ticket to Ride is an adventure game which sees players compete to connect well known destinations with railways by taking turns to collect enough coloured track cards to place their counters and claim the routes first. The longer the completed route, the more points the player receives and as the game progresses, players have to become more tactical in their route planning, using diversions and blocking tactics in an effort to outsmart one another. 

Now you can play with two new versions of Ticket to Ride, all packed into one box. Place the first rails of the glorious train adventure that all started in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland in the 19th century. Learn to master the power of steam to build trains that go faster and farther, develop your technologies and reach the far cities of Scotland and Ireland before your opponents do. The United Kingdom map comes with a complete new Train cards deck as well as additional locomotives. Also included are Technology cards such as the Mechanical Stoker or the Thermocompressor that will allow players to develop their Technology level and build faster trains and claim long routes.

The other option to play with is the Pennsylvania map. A state full of railroad history and you can now invest in some of the most profitable companies to help you develop your rail network to great new heights. But do not let your opponents outbid you, or you risk losing the benefits of your investments. The Pennsylvania map comes with 60 “Stock Shares” cards representing the great railroad companies of Pennsylvania. On this map, claiming a route also allows a player to invest in a company and having a majority of shares in a given company allows to score extra bonus points at game end.
