Veer-myn
The Veer-myn are a race of oversized space rodent scavagers who stow-away on cargo ships and multiply in vast numbers. The source of their size and relative intelligence is little understood - the main two arguments are that perhaps it relates to radiation leaks from poorly maintained reactors around which they nest, or that they were created on purpose as a genetically formed army to obey some sinister Megalomaniac. Either way, they gather in huge swarms in order to overwhelm the enemy, and have access to strange Chemical Weaponry... they stalk the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike.
